Vets Get Free Solar Installation Training
Veterans receive training for future jobs.
With the current economic climate and the return of many new veterans, jobs are difficult to come by. Unemployment rates for veterans are 50% higher than the average.
NexGen Construction, US Vets and Rich Hessler Business Development teamed up to host and train veterans to do solar installation. The veterans receive a week of hands-on training to become solar installers.
“I see heroes, I really do. I see heroes and they need to be greeted with a hero’s welcome when they come back home,” said Helgeson.
