This rebate program provides matching funds of up to $5,000 to qualified low to moderate-income homeowners. Qualified properties must be owner-occupied single-family homes, condominiums/townhomes and qualified multi-family units, whose property is in need of exterior aesthetic improvements. Mobile homes are eligible for $3,000 of financial assistance in the form of a grant. All qualified single-family homes built before 1960 may be eligible for up to an additional $2,500 of financial assistance. The housing rebate program is designed to provide tiered financial assistance based on the type of property.
Tiered Matching Contribution Rebate:
- 50% Owner – 50% Agency Match: Owner Occupied Single-Family & Condo’s/Townhomes up to $5,000
- 50% Owner – 50% Agency Match: Owner Occupied Single-Family *Pre-1960 Built Homes up to $7,500
- 75% Owner – 25% Agency Match: Rental Units – Single-Family, Condo’s/Townhomes, Multi-Family up to $5,000
- 0% Owner – 100% Agency Match: Owner Occupied Single-Family Homes up to $10,000 (Extremely Low Income)
- 0% Owner – 100% Agency Grant: Owner Occupied Mobile Homes
Owner Eligibility Requirements – The property owner must be a low to moderate-income homeowner whose household income does not exceed 120% of the Area Median Income, adjusted for family size.
